One day when I was studying ‘preventive medicine’ text book , i just observed a table comparing life expectancy of various countries. I am really shocked by knowing that many countries are leading a BETTER QUALITY AND QUANTITY (span) of life than our Indians.

Our governments are not such poor, but they are not providing quality health services as...

1) People are not demanding for health services.

2) Expenditure on health will not give any financial returns.

3) General trend – govts moving by meeting the temporary demands of people .

4) "Preventive health care" – which is like a foundation and spine of health care is bitterly neglected in India.

5) Allocation for health is very low and even that is not reaching completely for people .

6) Due to lack of awareness and man power various 'govt health programmes' are being failure.

I felt that problem is at root level and there is need to focus on "preventive health care and health services". Major causes of death in India are easily preventable diseases. When we make the people to realize that is their right to get quality health services and if they raise their voice – the problem will be solved to a greater extent. Keeping in view about the present scenario and probable solutions we designed "VILLAGE HEALTH CLUBS" - to spread our message and health in every village. It’s the dream to increase the average life expectancy and quality of life of Indians – its "LONG LIVE INDIA".

I shared my views with my friends, seniors, professors and like minded people and finally came before you.
