HOW CAN I START ‘ HEALTH CLUB ‘ IN MY VILLAGE ?

How much time should I spend on it?

If you are very much interested and takes a lead role in your village , it would be 2-3 hours in a week in approx.

I don’t stay in my village , can i initiate it in my village?

Why not- you have love for your village , you can do it in any means. You can send the details of your village like – name , mandal , district . along with contact info of some interested people and some youth their . We will also approach them in addition with you and can start the process.

Does the “Village health club” needs any registration ?

No, the central organisation is registered and so all the clubs will be like affiliated to it . Of course if some one are interested they can, but it needs some money, time and annual IT reports.

Names on 10 rs notary paper :

The names of the advisory committee and the working committee members are to be written in a 10 rs notary paper and to be sent for our central office . We will attach it in your village blog, so that it would be a strong evidence regarding our strength.

Any annual membership fee ?

Nothing like that.

How will you get the funds ?

If there is a will there is a way - Dr. Raghu ram , founder of LONG LIVE INDIA , is publishing a book

"KNOW HUMAN" - profits on that book will be utilised for LONG LIVE INDIA.

Will LONG LIVE INDIA accepts any donations ?

Our policy regarding donations is - "If you want to do some thing - do it with your own hands".

For example: Pay in direct to organisation is not encouraged.

Personal opinion of Dr.Raghu ram:

Our Govts are spending far less on health , But even the allotted amount is not being utilized properly . It is all because people are not questioning . Today we have a powerful weapon – Right to information act . If people questions and every paisa is utilized properly , there is no need of any donations.

Question for health - If public realizes that it is govt's responsibility to provide good health care , only then the govt responds – so "question for health". Of course if some one are interested they can do it in their own village or If some other wants to donate for LLI , they should directly pay . Ex: For Printing press which publishes Health education posters .

I am from other state ?Can I start there ?

We will spread it to other states soon after it succeeded in AP through medical college’s Community medicine departments. The problem is with “language” – we have local languages and so it is a bit difficult to publish posters , palm lets in local languages in a small scale. Hope we will soon spread it in Hindi speaking states.

Will there be regular activities ?

No, Its just like bringing awareness about the govt programmes in public , monitoring them , making the people question for health.
