Right now , we are getting money for expenses from “E.C members” only. Till now we have not collected a rupee through donations.

For free health education posters:

We will allot a column for ‘advertisement’ at the bottom of poster. The people who are interested to have added can give the amount required for posters directly to printing press (non commercial basis).

For running “village health clubs”:

The central committee cannot provide any funds to village committee. It will just send the posters, palm let's to bring health awareness - village committee should see they are posted at the public places in the village. There will be no major expenditures even in hundreds at village level. It's all - sending some letters ...sticking posters ...distributing palm lets...motivating villagers to question for health ...bringing problems to our notice...Monitoring the various govt programmes in the village.

As the programme is designed to pool man power, the need of financial resources is less when compared to others.

For example: If we want to start a “water purification plant” in a small village, it costs 2 lacks at least. What we do is to identify the problem and bring to the notice of dist authorities , make the people to question strongly so that the govt moves (or) to approach various voluntary organisations like nandhi foundation’ , ‘m.gates foundation’ which are working to provide safe drinking water in rural areas.

Example: Central govt is realising many grants to every district to improve sanitation, but they are not being utilized and being returned, lack of awareness. We will make the panchayat presidents to ask dist.collectors in this regard. When people know that they can build personal lavatories by getting subsidy from govt and if we give them the details, they can move to get benefited.
